Customer Support Engineer

Contactual is seeking a Customer Support Engineer for our San Mateo, CA location. Successful candidates will have telephony expertise, superior customer focus, excellent troubleshooting skills, a structured approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude in a team environment. The CSE's primary responsibility is to support our customers, partners and internal teams with any product and technical issues; to own new customer implementations including provisioning, customer requirements, configuration, training and documentation. Additional responsibilities include: creation of documentation, and participation in defining product enhancements as a customer advocate.

Successful candidates will have telephony troubleshooting experience, including PSTN and VoIP; 3-5 years experience in a Technical or Customer Support position; knowledge of web technologies and applications delivered over the web; technical understanding of PC operating systems and applications; desire and ability to work directly with customers and gain their confidence; desire and ability for fast paced professional and technical growth; and ability to provide a high volume of high quality problem resolutions to customers.
